The man who took the lead called Guo Jianjun, people sent the nickname “eight-one brother”. It happened to be his 51st birthday.
As the deputy manager of the Mongolian Tamzag power supply Branch of petrochina Electric Power Technical Service Company in Daqing Oilfield, Guo Jianjun led more than a dozen employees to undertake the task of conserving electricity for more than 500 oil and water Wells in Block 19 of Tamzag Oilfield. Their work involves many professions such as power generation, power transformation, transmission and distribution, and it is normal for people to live more and less. Especially in the past three years, they have stuck to overseas, and their per capita continuous time abroad has exceeded two years. On the eve of this year’s Lantern Festival, Guo Jianjun finished his hard-won vacation ahead of schedule and went to Mongolia again. At that time, the staff rotation of the branch was difficult, and the production site was seriously short of staff. While serving as the shift leader of block 19 and grasping daily work, he plunged into the substation and power station and became the main duty officer.
Working shifts in Tamzag is very hard. Due to the small number of people, the site can only implement three shifts, 10 hours of day shift, 14 hours of night shift, especially hard. At about 8 o ‘clock every night, Mongolia Qiaoba Mountain power plant began to increase the power supply load of Tamutzag oil field, Guo Jianjun to organize personnel to stop the generator, with peak load, often transferred to 2 o ‘clock the next day, and 4 o ‘clock in the morning to start the machine. Nearly 30 diesel generators and 3 gas generators are put into operation every day. Every four hours each diesel generator has to be filled with diesel, and every hour has to be inspected, day and night, snow or shine. The duty officers get off the night shift at 8 am and often sleep until 2 or 3 PM. But Guo Jianjun has never had a restful sleep after the night shift – as the head of the shift, he is the “big parent” of block 19, to answer the phone at any time and coordinate to deal with various problems.
Adhere to the spring season, the domestic “reinforcements” finally in place, Guo Jianjun this from shift work out of the body. Just after two days of good sleep, he went to organize spring inspection of power grid lines. Still the old rules, Guo Jianjun led the “pole”, but this time he really felt a little powerless – the years are not kind, the age is getting older, and the previous long shift shift, the energy consumption is larger. He used to climb more than ten poles a day, but now he is not strong enough to work for half a day and climb two or three poles. Since the beginning of this year, they have been outage maintenance 74 times, maintenance tower 1716 base, installation of 1286 bird repellant, distribution transformer high and low voltage terminals with 327 sets of insulation sheath.
Guo Jianjun is busy every day, production and life are all in charge, and he wants to give birth to three heads and six arms and “break” himself into several people to use. He knows that it is not easy to establish a foothold overseas, and it is even more difficult to lead a good team and seek progress in stability. In the face of difficulties and challenges, it is better to take the lead, so he always rushes in front and does in front. But there are some exceptions. For example, at dinner, he always eats last. When I get on the bus, I always get on the last one, afraid of leaving my colleagues behind. When you rest at night, you always sleep an hour or two later than others, because you have to calculate the working hours and bonuses, and arrange the work tasks for the next day. When it was finally his turn to return home to rest, he often gave the opportunity to those who needed to go back most at that time, and he “then insisted.” In everyone’s heart, Guo Jianjun is a trustworthy big brother.
