“Seven Pages” reported on May 18, the data of Bolivian National Bureau of Statistics (INE) and the Institute of Foreign Trade (IBCE) showed that the amount of fuel and lubricating oil imports in the first quarter was 712 million US dollars, up 19.2% year on year, including diesel imports of 455 million US dollars, up 32.1% year on year, gasoline imports of 229 million US dollars. Year-on-year growth was 3.58 per cent. The main sources of imported diesel oil are Chile (218 million dollars), Argentina (135 million dollars), the United States (39.5 million dollars), Peru (24.5 million dollars), Switzerland (21.2 million dollars), Paraguay (10.9 million dollars), Brazil (2.5 million dollars) and Panama (1.8 million dollars). The main sources of gasoline imports were Argentina ($61.6 million), Switzerland ($48 million), the United States ($36.1 million) and Germany ($37.1 million).
